In a study published in October 2005, more than 2,300 people were interviewed by iCrossing, New York, and Harris Interactive. They found that 77% of adults use search engines to carry out online research before making a purchase decision.
1/3 search by brand as much they do by general category of product and/or service.
69% of men use search engines when researching a product,
compared to 65% of women.
More men search by brand - 34% - compared to 25% of women.
Knowing this, can your company afford not to be found in search engines?
