Yahoo! admitted, today, that it has discovered a breach of more than one billion user accounts, which occurred in August 2013 and makes it the largest breach of data ever. This latest hack is believed to be separate and distinct from the theft of data from 500 million accounts that Yahoo! reported in September 2016. Worryingly, Yahoo! still hasn’t been able to find out how the data breach occurred.

Hackers are believed to have stolen information such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers and, in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers.

Below, you can see the email that Yahoo! have sent out to those email accounts that it believes may have been affected.
