How do I report a suspicious website, email or text message?

Do you think a website is trying to scam you?

If you are in the UK and think you’ve visited a  website that may be trying to scam you, you can report this to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

Have you received a scam email?

If you’re in the UK and you’ve received a scam email, you can forward it to the NCSC at report@phishing.gov.uk.

In the UK and received a scam text message?

If you’ve received a scam text you can report it by forwarding the message to the text number 7726.

This is a free reporting service provided by all phone operators and doesn’t cost you anything. They can then investigate the sender.
