Password management firm, SplashData, has revealed twenty-five of the worst passwords from the 2 million leaked online during 2015. SplashData has been compiling an annual list of most common online passwords since 2011.

At the top of the list for the third year running were the passwords ‘123456’ and also the actual word ‘password’. ‘Football’ was seventh on the list and a new entry, in at number 25, was ‘starwars’.

The 25 most-used passwords (change from 2014):-
